We drove to Helena today to try to get some kokanee salmon. We have a snagging season here for them. We got fifty today. Freezer has lots of filets! Great tasting fish.

Yes, landlocked. They get stocked pretty heavy in a few of the reservoirs. They will die like their spawning cousins, so the state prefers we snag them and eat them. We are happy to oblige
