To think two days ago I was backcountry skiing in Utah in perfect snow and today I was up to my belly button in the Yellowstone River. Little bit of run off today made the water murky so I tried an egg fly that I recently tied. Imagine my surprise when I started to catch rainbows instead of whitefish. I got one rainbow that was about 18 inches. Let her go to make babies. Kept the smaller one and a whitie for dinner. Good fun.
