Call Blade HQ. They may exchange for the 6"... If they will, Get the Recon Tanto. Friggin thing is a beast!

Either way the SRK-C is a great knife at a great price.

Yup. Got the compact. Do’h

Contacted them, returns not exchanges. So might just re order a regular size one and do something else with this one. It’s still sealed, but the box got a bit smushed.

I was looking at the recon tanto also.

The compact's fine. But? For what you paid, you could post it here in the sealed box for cost + shipping and I bet it'll move very quickly.

There's definitely value in a 5" blade. I bought the six because that's the model I used to own, but if I'd ended up with the five I bet it would do almost anything I would use the six for.

I’d/I’ll post it up for sale. Just hate having to ship stuff. Especially as I have to go to the PO.

Trust me, I have no shortage of knives… in fact I need to purge a bit. Lol.

I had an original SRK (pre crackle blade finish) which is why I wanted this one. I remember arguing on one of the big knife forums why the original smooth finish was better (easier to clean DNA off).
