Hey everyone, I had a quick question about the Kel Tec PF-9. From what I understand it can be transferred from someone in MA that legally bought (i.e. LE or pre-98), but cannot be bought first hand in this state. I didn't see any Kel Tec's on the AG list and I think the dao trigger may not be up to the regulations. Just wanted to make sure that is correct. I was considering one as a ccw based on a few reviews and a friend in NH that loves his.

KelTec pistols will generally not transit any dealer in MA, because as far as I know, they're not even on the EOPS roster.

Strictly speaking they are legal, the compliance regs just pertain to dealer
transfers, which ends up in a de-facto "blockade" of sorts due to the way
federal and state gun laws are set up.

See handgun compliance faq...

Kel Tec pf 9 legality

What about the one dealer (we must all know who he is ) who will transfer from NH? Once it`s transferred & FA 19 registered, any legal problem?

I've been shooting for over 50 years and I don't know of any dealer that will transfer a gun illegally from New Hampshire.
