The second amendment is not about hunting or sporting, maybe not even "self" defense. It is about the civilian ownership in "arms" superseding that of any government. "Arms" includes pretty much anything the government owns, but that is something I'm looking for answers on...

This link breaks accidental deaths into things like traffic accidents, poisonings, and firearms deaths. They fail to seperate firearm deaths (suicide, homicide, and accidental). I would be interested in knowing the breakdown since suicide and homicide are not accidental by my definition. A three year old getting hokd of a firearm and killing someone is accidental. An adult wishing to commit suicide is not an accident.
