Insuring Trail Cameras

On another site I read that some hunters have an insurance rider on their home owners insurance that covers their trail cameras. The cost was said to be less than $30.00 per year with no deductible. I was unaware that the trail cams could be insured under your home owners policy but for those of you who use trail cams it might be worth a call to your insurance agent.

is it really worth it? To insure a 200 dollar trails camera, have a claim filed against your homeowners(thus raising your homeowners insurance price/having you dropped?). Not worth it IMHO
