Like the title says, if anyone has competed in this even in the past, I would like to get some info so I can train for it. I have shot an email to Mr. Dunn, but I am sure like the rest of us he is busy with other things at the moment.
Some things I would like to know are:
What targets are used so i can acquire some to train on?
What is the course of fire (number of record shots/Number of targets)?
what kind of equipment regulations are their: sights/rifles/etc (I have come from NCAA smallbore, and they had a regulation for everything)
What are the conditions like on the reading range, is it a windy range? I am not really used to shooting thought he wind, and my personal 200yrd range is surrounded by trees.
Also, how many people shoot this event, Is it a hustle and bustle match, or something with lax prep times and spacious shooting lanes?
Oh, and any advice you are willing to part with would be graciously accepted.
