IMI UZI Markings

Hey guys,

ive tried posting this on a Uzi forum and of course I get zero feedback. Anyone know how tell when my Uzi was manufactured? Also, what are the markings on the barrel and inside the frame means?

IWI the successor of IMI doesn't have old records from what I could find.
mod A uzi will not have a safety on the firing pin on the back of the bolt. mod B's do.

"CARBINE MODEL A
9mm Para. cal., semi-auto, 16.1 in. barrel, parkerized finish, 25 shot mag., mfg. by IMI 1980-1983 and ser. range is SA01,001-SA037,000."

Looks like Model A SR#s below SA37xxx are pre-ban.

"CARBINE MODEL B
9mm Para., .41 Action Express (new 1987), or .45 ACP (new 1987) cal., semi-auto carbine, 16.1 in. barrel, baked enamel black finish over phosphated (parkerized) base finish, 16 (.45 ACP), 20 (.41 AE) or 25 (9mm Para.) shot mag., metal folding stock, includes molded case and carrying sling, 8.4 lbs. Mfg. 1983 - until Federal legislation disc. importation 1989 and ser. range is SA037,001-SA073,544."

Looks like Model B SR#s below SA73xxx are pre-ban. So, SA66xxx should be a Model B and also be pre-ban?
