Does anyone know where to find short uzi barrels? What length is recommended?

You can have a MG barrel turned down to fit a semiauto receiver.

I second Green Mountain. When I can save up toy funds for my second stamp I'm going to go with a GM 10.5 Uzi barrel.

They make the best uzi barrels out there.

I'm the same boat. I really like Green Mountain Barrels, but money is kinda tight for me right now with a wedding coming up. I bought a 16in barrel from Apex Gun Parts for $88, might buy another and cut it down and re-crown and radius it on my buddy's lathe.

I don't quite know how they're assembled yet. How much of the barrel would show if a 10.5" was used?
