IDPA Classifier - ESR Question

I wanted to get the opinion of SO’s and wheel gun IDPA shooters on shooting ESR in the classifier. In stage three, there are two reloads with retention, so when shooting SSP, I’d swap out mags after the required six shots , retain the mag that had been in the firearm with rounds still in it and stow it away before continuing to fire with the newly loaded mag. With six round moon clips, the “mag” is empty and so is the firearm, so does the empty moon clip need to be retained and stowed, or can it just be ejected on the ground?

If there are no live rounds in the moon clip, you can dump it without penalty.

Are you classified in ESP? Once I stop dropping stages and missing Marksman, I'll let you borrow my P35 if you want. It's still not for sale though, no matter how many times you ask me.
