hunting license

I was wondering if anybody knew how to get a hunting license. I tried to do it online but wasn't in the database... I've never taken hunter's ed but have taken a pistol safety course. does this qualify me to get a license? if so, where do i get one?

You need a Hunter Ed course or have previously held a hunting license in another state or Canadian Province. The pistol safety course will not cover you.
If you have an old hunting license, bring it to where licenses are sold and you're good.
If you had a hunting license from another state or province, you can fill out the affidavit online to purchase a MA lic.

thanks for the info! I guess I have to see if i can't dig up the Canadian license I got a few years ago... or take a course.
