Hoyt Rampage XT

I've never owned a bow but I figure it might be a fun way to waste some time and it is a LOT cheaper to shoot arrows than it is ammo! Is there any reason I shouldn't get the Hoyt Rampage XT? The reviews I've read seem to be good and the bow is in my price range.

No reason not to. I'm still hunting with a PSE that I got 20 years ago. Like most things; treat them right and it will last.

I got a Rampage XT about 2 months ago, great bow for the money. Price got a little high adding all new accessories, like sights, rests and all the other stuff needed.

I have a Hoyt and am very pleased with it. It may be worth also looking at last year's models which can attack deep discounts. There won't be much if anything in the performance.

I have been shooting a Hoyt Vortec since 2002. Love it and it has killed whole pile of deer. Hoyt makes a great bow!

Hoyt makes great bows. Go to a good shop and get set up properly and you will enjoy archery, I love shooting my bow!
