Update, pulled the heads, selling those and the shortblock separately.
Running 3.5 liter V6 shortblock from a 2006 Honda Ridgeline, engine code J35 J35A9.
Engine had 245,000 miles, rebuilt the heads with milling and a valve job and reringed the bottom end at 150,000 miles. Started getting rattly when cold so swapped it out.
Compression numbers just before pulling it from the vehicle were:
#1 225psi
#2 224psi
#3 232psi
#4 228psi
#5 210psi
#6 215psi
There is some cylinder wall scuffing, and it's time for an overbore and oversize pistons. Good crank and rods and rebuildable block. Many parts from this J35 engine will swap into a Honda Pilot, Odyssey, Accord, Acura MDX, and Saturn Vue.
