Im startin to monkey with kydex. Making some mag carriers and holsters. Id like to make a side saddle for my shotgun out of kydex.

When I make a mag carrier i use snap caps, but 12ga snapcaps arent too similar to the actual shape. Im curious if i should worry about wrapping 12ga shells with hot kydex in a press.

take spent 12ga shells and fill em with cement to hold shape

You could use plaster also, that way you do not have to buy a huge back of cement.
