I recognize the need to keep the forums to a minimum, but I think a new forum under HARDWARE – Gunsmith, would be of interest to NES members.
Most of us who live in Massachusetts are forced to live with the firearms available, pay exorbitant prices, or “jazz up” what we already own. I recently sought to upgrade my S&W 686 and had limited resources on how to get my project off the ground. I looked at NES “Build it Yourself which, while very interesting, didn’t help. I ended up shipping off my stock 686 to Smith and Wesson for the mods I wanted. I would have been a great interest to me to learn what experiences other members have had, what they changed/modified, what worked and what didn’t, and to see before/after pictures.
