Since June 14, 1775 The United States Army has been protecting and defending this nation even before it formally was a nation. If you served or are serving honorably in the Regular Army, the Army National Guard, or the Army Reserve I salute your service...so have a beer or eat some cake today is a day to celebrate.

My Mother's birthday is today, also.

When she was a child, she thought that all the neighbors were putting their flags on display (their extras, that is..) to honor her birthday.
