if so, can you let me know how "kid friendly" it is.

Was there this am with 13 year old.
There was a trout pool for kids to fish in and a chain saw carving display.

There's also an archery thing the kids can do, and if they are not real little they can do the tomahawk throwing. Someone was giving them water pistols today, too, but I don't know if that will happen tomorrow. Kids get in free. All in all, pretty kid friendly. 9-3 tomorrow. Disclosure: I am a member there.

How was the show....any good deals? I saw the flyer, looks like some interesting vendors. Would be willing to make the trip if it came with some positive feedback.

great time had, lots of ammo.(no real deals)
the people there were as nice as nice can be !!!
thank you all who helped my son fish & shoot archery.
he said " this is the best day ever ". he's 4 and had a blast !!

So glad to hear it! They're going to have a junior archery program starting up sometime maybe this fall, and there is a junior rifle program that runs every Wednesday night, so those are options if he wants to keep going. I think almost all of the events are open to the public, so if you check out the web site, you can see the various options.
