I noticed that too. Those were the kind of skits that rich people who never leave manhattan might find funny.
Can someone remind me again why SNL wasn't cancelled 15 years or so ago? It hasn't been vaguely funny in years. They hire nothing but socialists who use the show to promote their political agendas.

Talk about getting old! And yeah, the SNL whale washed up on the beach not years but decades ago.
Kinda funny vid though- they mean it as socialist agenda satire but in a way it shows we're doing OK if they must make fun of how commonplace guns have become.

I live in Australia. There was one mass shooting there years ago and the government did a buy-back program to get rid of most of the guns. Unfortunately now only the police and criminals have guns while the law-abiding citizens now cower in fear as instances of home invasions are through the roof with criminals bursting into homes (often the same homes being invaded again and again because the courts just let these criminals back out on the street with barely a slap on the wrist) while using guns, baseball bats, machetes and knives etc to attack their helpless victims. Yeah, gun-related deaths are down but baseball bat and machete and knife killings are sky high. Just last week a mentally challenged teenage boy was killed with an ax to the head trying to protect his father who’d been lured to a location by some thugs under the ruse that some woman needed his help.

It was good mid 90's when sandler, chris farley and phil hartmann were there. They were the last good group, since then it's been terrible.
