Just saw this news story posted from Friday March 08.
Did not see it when I did a recent search just wanted to post and see if any followup is ever made. Or make stores in the area aware if someone trys to pawn em.
"HAVERHILL — A rifle and a muzzleloader were stolen during a break-in to an apartment on Beach Street on Thursday, police said.
The guns — a .50-caliber Thompson Center muzzleloader, valued at $300, and a Ruger .22-caliber semi-automatic rifle, valued at $250, — were being stored in a case along with ammunition and cartridges, neither of which were taken. Both guns were unloaded and had trigger locks, the owner told police.
Also stolen from the apartment were a 100-pound safe containing personal papers, hand-held radios, a laptop, BB gun and iPod, the man reported.
Police are investigating. "
