anyone looking to get in to bird/deer hunting; dicks has a sweet deal this week (ends tomorrow i think) on the remington 870 in 20 or 12 gauge.
fully rifled cantilever barrel with bushnell (banner) 2-7 scope, a 26" field barrel with rem choke, and synthetic stock. of course all the regular items like the mag plug and choke wrench etc come with it.
or you can go with a shurshot stock model that has a regular rifled barrel with a scope mount screwed on to the receiver, and it comes with same field barrel accessories etc.

all of this for $399.99 after the $30 mail in rebate from remington.

not bad considering that remington rifled cantilever barrel is $389.99 at bass pro and similar stores

i hope some hunters get to take advantage of this!

Its one of the good deals they run around this time. 2 years ago I got the same deal, but a mossberg 500 with the 2 barrels and scope. I think its was $100 or so cheaper than that at the time. they were rotating between the two deals.
