gen 4 implies that there was a gen 3 (or some earlier version). the G43 isn't really part of a "generation". it's just a G43. at current time there's only one version. now if they develop a gen 5 version of the G43 i'm not sure what they will call the original G43 (perhaps Gen 1?).

also there's a button on the left called "caps lock". just an FYI.

It shares Gen4 features such as the grip texture and what not, but like Squib308 said, it is not of any generation since it's the first of it's model.

you can put caps lock on and use shift for every letter to make them lower case, like I am right now!
