Just an FYI for those who maybe may not know. With the big backlog in claims right now with the 9/11 Chapt 33 GI Bill coming online, the VA is behind and many vets have not received anything although they are heading into the 2nd month of school.
The VA right now will advance pay you up to $3000 to offset any financial issues you may have because they are so behind.
This is at least true for the Chapt 33 folks, I hope and presume the Mont GI Bill folks are not having the same issues.
