It's been about 15 years since I last bought a freshwater fishing license. I remember when buying the license you also had to pay around $35 extra to ducks unlimited or something. Can I just pay the state license fee, or do I also have to pay this extra fee? Thanks

Just go buy the license and you don't pay for anything else. How did you get that figure?

A fishing license is $27.50 (plus up to a $1.50 fee if you buy it somewhere other than a Fish & Wildlife Office). If you are over 65 years old it is reduced. If you are over 70 it is free. <-- or something pretty close to that.

go to Walmart and ask for a fishing license. That crappy paper is all you need.
