Found an AR15 on gunsamerica

NIB S&W M&P AR15 for under $1000? This has to be a mistake or fraud right? If it's not I hope someone here can enjoy it because I don't have the spare change .

There were a dozen of them on the rack of the S&W retail store in Springfield yesterday

The S&W website lists the cheapest one as $1169 so I thought this was a good deal . Are they cheaper at the performance shop than the prices listed on the website?

Can I buy this from them as a mass resident?

pinned stock, no bayonet lug or flash hider, and a small magazine... looks just fine.
