Fixed Blade or Mechanical Broadheads

my concern is having mechanicals deploy midflight. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I shoot the NAP Spitfires out of a 200lb crossbow and I never had a problem with them deploying in flight.

Did the G5 Lighted Nocks work by magnet? Those that do seem complicated.

I got some Archers Flame kocks and i like them alot. Its a pretty cool system all three of mine lit up and stay on to you turn them off. They are also resonabley priced at $25.

NO thats the best part ,they use the g-force once fired .and just tap thm to shut off . after 6 sec. from flight they will blink for 72 hrs i think the time was ....... http://www.g5outdoors.com/#sec_lighted_nock

I like the nocturnals. Very reliable and have an actual switch you use to turn them off after shooting

Thanks for the info guys I think I am gonna stick with the G5's this year the carpentry trade has not been kind lately and I don't want to spent the money on some sptifires and have them not fly so hot. I have my eyes on a new slug gun first. I am tired of looking for 16ga. slugs and am hoping to get a Benelli.

yes they do get fitted wth the dowels but its a fairly quick and eay process.
