Anyone hear about this firearms auction in Farifield, Maine? NECN had a story and it is on their website...it is described as the largest ever of it's kind...the owner of the collection is expected to gross $15 million! There are 3 rifles owned by Annie Oakley that are expected to realize up to $150,000 each. He sold 1 pistol for $115,000! It is supposed to contain the largest and most complete collection of confederate firearms ever.
I never herd about it nor did I see anything until now...not that I could buy anything but a really cool story. I guess it goes on through the end of the week at the Julia Auction house.
