With ammo prices high and everyone building their new lowers I thought it time we share and compare loads. Here is what I worked up about 8 years ago. This load had the smallest variation in velocity and a pretty tight grouping. PLEASE FOLLOW PROPER RELOADING PROCEDURES AND WORK UP YOUR OWN SAFE LOAD

Bullet IMI 62 gn ss109
brass IMI .223
primer WSR
Powder Win 748 27.3 gn
OAL 2.253
Temp 50F
Velocity 3100 fps +/- 35 fps 20 rnds (shooting Chrony F1 5 feet from muzzle)
barrel 20" Bushmaster 1:9 twist
Group 1 to 1.5 inches at 100 yards

Loaded on a Dillon 550B with Dillon dies and Dillon electronic powder scale, trying to match the SS109 published data, not really striving for ultimate accuracy

just for yucks I moly coat the bullets because I bought a pound of it at a show years ago.

Your pet loads?

All well and good on the data......but you didn't report the most important info, what did your target groups look like?

How tight is "pretty tight"?
