Engraving multiple Glock mags with same serial number

I would never break the law.

I’m just thinking- I can register one mag with one serial number.

The state will think I have only one mag.

I actually have 200 FML drop free square notch pre bans in new condition.

I can give multiple mags the same serial number.

I’ll only use one at a time so it’s a lifetime supply for my own personal use.

Not for resale.

Or, I could register all 200 G19 square notches.

When the public gets hold of this data - I could be robbed.

NOT- since they are registered- nobody would want to steal the cuz they’d be tied to my name and address.

Think of it this way…

If I dig up all my buried booty and keep it at home- nobody would want to steal it because it’s registered.

They’d be better off going to NH to purchase post band that mess with my registered stuff.

I don't think that is the way this serializing will be rolled out
I do think it will be set up more like Connecticut set there serializing skeem.
The state will be controlling what serial numbers are used and directions on how to serialize.

How DO they do it in CT?

For 420, once it's serialized - I can no longer sell it?

Do you suggest I sell off my stash now, then?

Or keep them all for the rest of my life?

Keep them for life. Hide them away and make beleave you don't have them. This law may not last or you may end up moving to a free state in the future. If you sell now toffee states what you have will not bring you the money you are looking for. Those items will have little value to them because they can buy them at a discount on line new or in there state.

The new law in Connecticut dosent require serializing of hicap magazines, however you must apply and register them. It also highly controls the use and possession of them.
