Hey folks,

Does anyone here do pistol refinishing? I've got a H&K P7 PSP that needs some love, and a H&K VP70Z that needs a full refinish as well. I'd much rather put some cash in a member's pocket, and not have to ship my guns to Kalamazoo for 6 years to get them looking good again.

Thanks in advance!

I would tell you just order the dura coat kit and do it yourself from the link above. I got that kit and did a Glock 19 slide. Just type off the sights and paint away it holds up great.

Or if you want go on brownells and get there baked on lacker finish in a can which I used on some Masuer M48 parts and turned out good as well you just have to bake the parts in a oven.

Both of the two setups gunsmiths use and charge you a arm and a leg when its cheap and easy to do yourself.

This is one of the best companies in the business. He posts in a lot of forums but you can check out the sigforum for satisfied customers.

I had CCR do my P6 (West German Police P225), and it was outstanding work, and his customer service is world-class. Turn-around time it relatively short (3-4 weeks due to his current backlog, IIRC), as well. Great guy.

www.fordsguns.com. I'm sending one to them this week to be have the frame hard chromed and the slide black nickled.

They are one of the best in the country but because of that it takes four months to get your gun back.
