I was given a ,well appears to be, great cut of Venison!!! Back strip! ..and well figured we should have an section to share recipes!!!!

I mean I'm sure Cpher has a BEER recipe
Ross can share a "little" recipe
and derek well ....a "jar" recipe!!!!

 

[GOAL]

Backstrap is an excellent cut of meat and can be done several ways. One of my favorite is to slice it into chops about an inch thick. Season it with McCormick Grill Mates Roasted Garlic & Herb grill it quickly (never want to over cook venison) and while it is still hot and on the plate put just a touch of real butter to it. The butter really brings out the flavor of the spices. Have fun!!

Also make sure all the fat and silver skin is removed before cooking!
