Can be built with just a drill, hacksaw and files but I used my desktop mill and lathe.

The two pins store in the body so you don't lose them.

Long pin aligns the pusher, trigger guard and lower. Also used to push out a roll pin.
Short pin is used to get the roll pin flush.

Nice litte custom piece. What did you use the lathe for? Taper the pins? They look like hardened guage pins. That stuffs tough to cut.

All I had was 1/4" 12l - not hard at all but needed to turn it to .120 for a free fit.
Also used the lathe to drill out the screw - that was surface hardened.

Might crank out a couple extra for some random karma.
Need to grab a few more 1/4-20 socket head screws first.

Inserts and removes the trigger guard roll pin without worrying about snapping off anything

have vise grips and masking tape been banned in MA, too? [shocked]

On a more serious note - good work on DIY. I can always get behind that.

Vice grips can install the pin, if you're careful, but can they be used to pull one?

Actually, it's more an exercise in what can I do with some free time mixed with reading a thread by some poor bastard that snapped the leg off his registered SBR lower.
