Did the forum change how twitter links get posted? (If so thank you!)

I'm used to links to tweets showing up as embedded twitter links that get loaded directly from twitter. (Or not, if I am someplace where twitter is blocked.)

For the last couple of days, I've seen a whole bunch of twitter reposts (from different people) that instead show up as screencaps of tweets, which is awesome! It means I can read the stuff, that it won't change even if it gets edited or deleted at twitter, and twitter doesn't get my clicks. (Example: almost everything on the last page of the Elon/twitter thread.)

Did something change on the forum so it automatically generates screencaps, or did almost everyone decide to change how they post?
