My favorites, I like nice sporting rifles like pre 64 M70's and ZB Brno's.

This may be an old shop that I have just found. Many of the guns are back there in the very small place out of reach and almost out of sight. The place always seems busy however when I stopped in. That must say that others are getting satisfied there.

This place makes and sells AR's which of course are the hot topic. While these guns don't interest me it seems that many feel the opposite way.

Mitz is an interesting shop with a good website. They had a Husqvana listed for only $395 but its sold.
I liked the shop and I will be back there.

Valley had few guns of interest to me. Few used guns there as well. This is a small store. It says on their site that they are "We are the largest used gun buying entity in the state of Connecticut." Maybe they are but the guns are not in that store and there were no other customers there! The tiny Sportsmans Outpost in Wolcott has far more activity.

I was into Mitz recently, its a nice little shop. The owners are very friendly and the prices are pretty good. They've got a decent inventory, lots of rifles and shotguns and a good number of handguns. It's a little tricky to find in Seymour, it's next to the Strand Theater and you don't even notice it unless you are looking for it but there is plenty of parking at the train station across the street. Its worth a stop in.

Stopped in to Autumn Gun Works in Goshen CT with Grampa today - they have a little bit of everything
lots of cast bullets, regular bullets & powder for reloading - lotsa guns too- friendly guys, prices not bad - good machine shop out back

I was told they pushed a custom rifle away on their counter that was offered for consignment and said "I don't want that." with no other help.

There are two other shops now in Goshen.

Go to the traffic circle and turn west on rt 4 and find "Drop the Hammer Gun Shop" and a archery shop just after it.
