The other thing I just noticed is this:

Total Weight: 23 lbs.

A freeze dried meal generally is 6-8oz/2 servings. 23 lbs is 368 oz, or 92-121 serving equivalents of a freeze-dried meal. Now I'm sure the 23lbs also includes the weight of packing...

I might be willing to buy it just to see what it is like..... but I dunno, something sounds a bit salty to me.

I had a conversation about these recently. If they were available in store, (which they are not), I might be willing to give one a try. I went so far as to check out the company. Their website was defunct for a long time - as was their telephone number. I finally tracked them down through the Yellow pages and when I called, a very mousy woman answered the phone and seemed surprised I had called. I proceeded to ask her a few questions and even tried to order a sample. She said they were no longer offering samples or online sales, (I was thinking group buy) and directed me to Costco's website... By the time you pay shipping on 23-pounds, the value is pretty much gone...
