Heres a shot of the Yugo 59 SKS I bought as a "U Fix Em" special a while back. I finally got around to getting the bayonet and put it on last night. Parts that were missing were bayonet, cleaning rod, and butt plate. I got the leather sling and oiler in the mail about a week ago. All together it wound up costing me $95 which is still well under the $150 it would have if I had bought one with everything, plus I get a satisfaction out of taking a misfit parts rifle and turning it into a good shooter which this one is. It outshoots my Russian and Yugo 59/66.
I love a completed rifle.[smile]

Very cool. And a nice photo too!

Just think of the parts-guns and piles of goodies you'll find at your first Big E!

Have you extended the bayonet and taken a few mock thrusts with it yet?

That log pile looks pretty threatening to me.

I have with mine and I happily admit it. [smile]

I draw the line at letting out a war cry when doing it though.
