I never tried but will continue extreme careful paying attention when I do. I banded the mags that I only use with 300 and never 556.‘That settles it for me. I’m never bringing both to the range. I never knew that.

Well that’s a pretty commonly held belief. If you reload you might enjoy an adjustable gas block. But like somebody else said regardless of the gas block being adjustable you can only get so much gas through the gas port. If you shoot enough the Gasport erodes overtime but that’s not relevant to this because it’s a brand new rifle...what I meant by my comment is that I don't see a need for a JP adjustable gas block for a "standard" 16" non sbr, non suppressed build.
It does? JP Enterprises makes premium parts. They're really popular with the three gun crowd. What am I missing?(Although it does seem that he bought a real shitty gas block)
There's nothing wrong with the guys gas block that's basically a red herring here.It does? JP Enterprises makes premium parts. They're really popular with the three gun crowd. What am I missing?
Im not coming down on JP, they do make good stuff...It’s just the design of the gas block is just kind of shit..The way it mounts the way it adjusts. Most people get these adjustable gas blocks and never even use the adjustment and they get stuck. It just wouldn’t be my first pick. I’m not blaming the gas block for the kaboom. I just think it’s a piece of shit it’s just my opinion. It does? JP Enterprises makes premium parts. They're really popular with the three gun crowd. What am I missing?
I dont thing you can get enough slow burning powder into a 223 case to get that much pressure to the gas port.
that last round , it will always get you. He mentioned 300aac ?
Looks familiar

the incident with Scott’s serbu 50 had nothing to do with the rifle. He fired an overpressured slap (armor piercing) round. as he himself points out the responsibility is on the user to know what they’re chambering. i do not know Mark Serbu at all but I hope Scott’s accident doesn’t end up ruining his brand.
Lol ..Scott’s video actually gave me nightmares. That’s a catastrophic failure. I was surprised It did knock him right off the chair when he got hit with that cap in the eye...I got a 50 Cal around here that I accidentally stole waiting for my turn at the NES shoot. I don’t ever want to shoot a 50 again in my life. Unless it has a remote firing system...I find a lot of the 50 caliber options out there to be not very impressive. But they usually don’t blow up in peoples faces
I mean this is seriously disgusting.
But that’s not likely to kill you. Scott gets the metal for beating death. That f***ing thing hit him so hard
"Chicks dig scars little buddy"Or the guy who lets his kid blast himself with the butt stock of a 12 gauge in the face...
Ice Arms...
Your standard bolt control group doesn’t usually just break into pieces after a few rounds...And this is coming from a guy who completely home brews his own ammo and has about $3.50 worth of quarters in his buffer tube...
Edit...The 9 mm kits require between two dollars and $2.25 of quarters some of the other ones only require $.50.
If you have to ask why I have quarters in my buffer tube there’s hours of reading about it if you Google it
Your post prompted me to ask myself whether that would suffice toLooks like it fired out battery on a case hanging out if the chamber.

Buying a new rifle that’s not going to be suppressed and customizing it with stupid parts is a fail in itself....
I have to reread it to determine if that was a new bcg or if it came with the rifle...People love buy shitty bolt control groups that are chromed or whatever ....nickel plated pick your flavor.
I believe the misconception is it’ll be easier to clean or require less maintenance/lubrication.
