It's getting slim on good stuff I'm sure.
I'm just glad family found it and had the good head to turn it over. So much stuff just gets tossed in the dumpster when clearing out the "home"
 
It's really confusing for me when the same story shows up on both the Gun and Sword fighting (HEMA) forums... it's like, "wait, how got swords in my guns? or is it guns in my swords?"
 
Two of my Great grandfathers were Union civil war vets. One was engaged at the battle of Ball's Bluff and the other at Spotsylvania. I have the two swords that belonged to them. Handed down over the years. Highly prized to me..
