Does CO have binding signage? Or is it a tresspass standard state?
As far as I can tell, ignoring a private no guns sign is a simple trespass, see C.R.S. 18-12-214
But sometimes the distinction people make about those two terms is meaningless.
Ohio law treats a private no guns sign the same as posting a "no trespassing" sign or the same as being told verbally "you can't come in here armed".
If it applies to you, it's criminal trespass (4th class misdeamenor). In other words, ignoring a private no guns sign posted on a store, bank, mall, bar, restaurant, etc in Ohio is criminally the same as ignoring a no trespassing sign on some field or woods. Ignoring a private no guns sign is not a firearms related offense here and it is not a felony.
