I'm not an NFA owner, but from the toys generous owners have let me try out, a registered M16 or AR sear seems the clear leader in caliber flexibility. It seems, if it fits in the magwell, someone has made an upper for it.

If prices on semi autos are going through the roof, full autos must be going into orbit.
Surprisingly, that doesn't seem to be the case. The full auto stuff is pretty much off most politician's radar.
That and the "$3000 and up" price tag to buy any MG worth buying.
