Lawsuit filed over Illinois Non-resident non-issuance (link to thread)

[thread=264651]With the new lawsuit, this may change soon[/thread].

IMHO, their provisions for non-residents engaged in non-stop travel from one neighboring state to another across Illinois are actually much better than in most of the country, I feel safer driving across Illinois than I would crossing Massachusetts or New York.

When the law first went into effect, op-eds were full of hand-wringers complaints about how they feel posting pictures of guns everywhere will traumatize their children. State Senator Don Harmon even filed a 'reverse the signage" bill (Senate Bill 2669).

Aside from the binding signage, there's a huge list of places carry (possession?) is forbidden, including all public transit and public buildings
