This Saturday the 16th, at 9:00am, Chester R+G club is having another pin shoot. This club is the best attended of the two southern NH pin shooting venues. SA John has told me that he is trying to recruit some new shooters from western Mass to attend. He said they shoot pins out there better than we shoot them here in the east. Much faster, he says, which is why he is now shooting a double-action revolver in .357 caliber. He told me he couldn't keep up with their optical-sighted autos and revos with his SA Colts. I now call him DA John.
The Chester shoots are well attended. Some times we get up to 50 shooters. Stop on by and give it try. It's very different than IDPA or Steel Challenge shooting. You need a big bullet and a good aim.
