Hi everybody....looking into Cowboy Action Shooting and I'm wondering if there is a shop in Mass that carries a supply of appropriate firearms. I know Mass law is a problem but just wondering.

Thank you,
Andy

CAS firearms shouldn't be much of a problem to purchase provided you have the proper licence.
The next question is where in MA are you? I like Aberdale's but it may not be conveniently located to you.

You should be able to find Vaqueros at most shops - just make sure you get the non-adjustable sights. Double-barrel shotgun should be relatively easy to find too. For the rifle, if you're close to Kittery, they've got a selection of used in various calibers right now: Used Rifles | Pump, Lever, Bolt, Semi, Rifles | Kittery Trading Postl - having one caliber for rifle and revolvers is helpful, and .38/.357 is significantly cheaper than .44 or .45.

I just started shooting CAS this year, and am looking forward to matches starting up again in the Spring.

You can get a Winchester model 1897 or clone, too. The Norinco ones are pretty highly regarded.

Depending on your location Cowboy Gun Works has helped out a few NES'ers. You can buy and have them transferred or bring what you got. Rifle, pistol and lever action.
