It was a great day to take out the Millies, i took my 91/30 and my 6.5
Italian thrown down once Rifle, Thanks to the advice of Pilgrim (to use a
rubber butt pad) the afternoon was more enjoyable with the ruski,
and the carcano was another story! i had some reloaded rounds that my friend, that sold me the gun had put together ( i trust his loads) but he
used .264 Dia-blts and this is probabley why he sold the gun for $75.00
thinking that it printed like a SHOTGUN!!! but from the education that
i got on my outher post (Carcano 6.5 ??? ) i now know to use .268 Dia,
bullets that are only avallable from Hornaday i believe,! anyway the point
i am trying to make is that it pay,s to ask the forum!!!!!!!!!
