Can i have a gun locked up in my car with a Class A Restriction

I have a Class A restricted and i know i cannot conceal carry except during those limited circumstances but my question is can i have my pistol locked in the original case regardless of where i go. For Example could i lock it in the case and put and leave it in my car while i drive to work every day?

AFAIK, you should be good to go, but it has to be locked in the trunk because you would have to have it under your direct control if in the passenger compartment, which would not be possible in your situation. Hopefully some members with more expertise in this area will chime in, and clarify the legality of it.
