Burris Eliminator III laserscope

Its cool.. and they will sell a lot of them. Your buying 500 dollar glass with 1200 dollars of IMO worthless stuff in it.

Id rather use mil dots to range my target, and dial inappropriately. You know.. use actually shooting skill. Then I can either pocket the 1200 or buy glass that is actually worth 1700https://www.google.com/search?q=app...ved=0ahUKEwiS5bHr6uXNAhXIaD4KHT4xD_MQvwUIGygA

I had one - awful! Fortunately Basspro took it back...

It is a great concept - rangefinder and bullet drop calculator but the grid/reticle obscures the view. It also had the odd habit of shutting off at random times.

I had it on a .300 win mag hunting rifle.

The reticle is a bit busy....provides combo of "mil dot " and the grid down the bottom for other hold off points.
I do like "mil dot " style reticle as it makes hold overs easier. I often don't touch my turrets once zeroed.

Any reticle can be used to judge distance. You just need to take the time to see how much a line or dot covers at X yards on Y mag. Like the old 30/30 reticle of days of old.
