Least the kid is safe that's call that really matters. Frankly if you've already crossed that line unless you come out and surrender you're pretty much ****ed. This guy knew he was dead the moment he started this shitshow, he was just too much of a coward to save everyone the trouble by sticking the gun in his mouth first.
This isn't a drug raid, a gun crime or any of the other stupid shit the gov usually kills people for. This involved an actual crime of violence against another human.
