Not fishing for offers here as this is kind of a grail gun for me. Just looking to see if folks here can tell me more about this particular model.

I have a Beretta Inox serial L68nnnZ. Serial maps to about 1994. The internet sleuths write about his being the 'ghost' model and something about the slant nose or pug nose of the frame which makes this rare? I don't feel like this is a rare model, I would say kinda hard to find with the silver controls over the current INOX with the black. Also being made in Italy vs US. Typical DA/SA with safety decocker. I don't believe this one has been messed with as far as springs and what not. I did notice that it doesn't have a warning on the side about firing without a mag inserted where the new ones do.

Can folks tell me more about this one and the frame nose thing? Just wondering if that was for real and not someone making stuff up.

Thanks in advance.

The ghost 92 is an older INOX with silver controls, not really rare. You have the Italian made 1st gen Ghost with square dust cover and non-radiused backstrap which does make this rare, for a 92 at least. IIRC this is the first iteration of the ghost and the most collectible. If it's really LNIB I'd keep that a safe queen and buy another 92 to shoot.

It’s a cool model Inox,Italian,Inox controls, Straight Dust cover, and no warning label on the frame. It’s a desirable gun. If you had the hogue silver grips it would be a beautiful ghost.
