I just wanted to pass this along for anyone interested. I know its short
notice. But I also know that some of you enjoy the use of these areas for
snowmobiling, ATVing, and hiking.
I understand that we will be meeting at the October Mtn. camp grounds at
8:30 Sat. morning. I also just recieve word that the Gov. Patrick will be there
also. I haven't confirmed this but, lets make him say something good about
the plentiful and law abiding gun owners in this state.

BEARTOWN & OCT MTN CLEANUP PLANNED.
The Lee Sportsmen's club, Lenox Sportsmen, and hopefully other clubs will be hosting a work party on Saturday, May 17, 2008 for the purpose of trash removal in the above named State Forests.
We will have 3 dumpsters at our disposal and at the present time we are just trying to get a head count onhow many club members are willing to help us out. Many of you will remember we participated in this eventa few years back. It's a great opportunity for all local sportsmen to improve their image and clean up the Forests as well.
