bayonet

ok...i have one of the standard military issue bayonets for my AR and it doesnt fit...the ring that is supposed to rest on the flashhider instead rests on the barrel meaning the bayonet is too short...are there longer bayonets out there? i thought it was standard issue and would fit all ar carbines but i guess i was wrong

Not a chance , the Barrel is to long . trying to put it on a carbine ?? Wont work . Bayos are made for RIFLES not carbines.

so why bother put a bayonet lug on the damn thing then???

Ask your self this ... Why make every other front sight with out one JUST for carbines. These are massed produced parts (its also the gas block) so it just is not cost effective .

Look at the bright side having the lug will piss off the Brady's

good point...i didnt think of that...i guess that means im just gonna have to get a 37mm launcher now in place of a bayonet...oh well

Why not buy mags and ammo instead??? 37mm stuff is spendy .

Maybe and LBV , some Kevlar , ooohhhhhh the list goes on..............
