Barrel Length Question

I will start by saying I apologize if this has been brought up before. I read the MA-Centric FAQ and searched the NFA threads and couldnt quite come up with what I was looking for, so I figured Id ask.

I know the minimum barrel length is 16", anything less and it becomes a SBR. My question is this. If I used a 14" barrel with a 2" permanently attached (thanks Massachusetts) muzzle break, does this then make the overall barrel length 16"...thus not making it a SBR? I am trying to stay in compliance without completley neutering my AR so any help would be much appreciated.

Hahaha Ill make sure to send a mag through it right away so it warms up to length
